A year of typography
2026-06-08
For a long time I avoided typography. Small, repeatable steps turned out to matter more than any single trick. Nothing here is new, but it took me a while to see it. I wrote down what worked and what did not. There is always one more thing to adjust. Keeping a simple log helped more than I expected. Next time I want to try a different approach.
Most of my weekends now go into sourdough. It is slower than buying the finished thing, and that is the point. The notes below are mostly for my future self. The second try took half the time of the first. Questions are welcome by email.
I finally made some time for watercolor. Most of the work is preparation; the visible part is quick. Nothing here is new, but it took me a while to see it. Small, repeatable steps turned out to matter more than any single trick. Thanks for reading.
