Weekend experiments in woodworking

For a long time I avoided woodworking. The notes below are mostly for my future self. I borrowed most of the equipment at first. Cheap materials are fine for practice. Most of the work is preparation; the visible part is quick. Keeping a simple log helped more than I expected. I will update this page when I learn more.

I finally made some time for watercolor. I wrote down what worked and what did not. Mistakes were cheap, so I made many of them. Next time I want to try a different approach.
